Brooklinen does not believe in customer service. I will tell my story, but the bottom line is the worst customer service I have ever received. Ever!!!... When we received them, she did not like the color, so I wanted to exchange them. That's where the trouble started, as the website does not permit exchanges. Ughhhh. I used the chat to contact customer service. They informed me that I had to return the first order and reorder again. It was a pain, but it was okay. When I went to reorder, the price was higher. I contacted customer service again on chat. They told me to use a coupon code. I did and it was not accepted. Plus, I was charged $9.99 on the return. Again, I contacted chat customer service, and they told me to place my order and then call customer service to have them rebate the $9.99 plus the difference in price. I then called customer service. They are in a foreign country and hard to understand. They refunded my $9.99 but they would not match the price, as they told me the other color was more expensive. OMG! Although I told them about the several chat exchanges, they told me there was nothing they could do. Of course, I asked for a supervisor. Haha. After waiting for days, I finally sent an email. They responded with the same stock answer. They would not honor what their own chat reps promised. Plus, this is the only company I ever dealt with that does not record their chat and offer a copy to the customer. I was told that I should have taken a screenshot. Really??????? As you can tell, this took weeks of back and forth, only to be very disappointed. It is unbelievable that they turned a happy customer into a very, very unhappy customer over an even exchange. They allow for 365 returns and are OK with you washing your sheets as many times as you'd like. In fact, any washed materials go to donations, no questions asked. The cost of ~ $10 to return is well worth being able to experience their sheets for a while. We bought both the percale and lux sateen and kept the latter. We also bought the down duvet, which felt great, but decided to return it in favor of another. Extremely impressed by their returns policy and I will certainly be buying more stuff from them because of it. Read more

They are letting me return them, even though I washed and slept on them, so I am glad for that, even though there is a $9.95 charge. I'm happy to pay that to get rid of these. I do like the Marlow pillow I got from now and I'm keeping that. I have a hard time finding pillows that I like. As for the sheets, you are better off hitting Macy's for some 400-800 thread count sheets on their big sales. They may not have as many colors or slick marketing, but they're soft as heck and hold up. To replace the brooklinen (I had to because I just downsized to a queen), I just purchased West Elm organic 400 thread count sateen and man oh man those are soooo soft too! Read more

The quality is unmatched (I'm sort-of new to the linen sheets game). I accidently ordered 2 Duvet covers that were last call and emailed customer support immediately. They were SOO helpful and let me return the one I didn't want. Anytime I had a question I got a helpful response in less than 24hrs. This is a company that will work with you, but they don't read minds, and I think that's where a lot of people fall off. I have turned my Mom onto them as well. I trust this company. They are not the cheapest, but you get what you pay for ;). Read more

Placed the re-order with a rep on the phone and it would not apply discounts. Rep could not or would not place the order for me. A FedEx label was provided for the return. Two different FedEx locations could not scan the label. Had to call the company. Took 20 minutes to get a supervisor to authorize FedEx to pick it up at my home. No offer of compensation for the running around I had to do all because of their inefficiency until I demanded it, and then only a paltry 5% off the re-order - did refuse a 20% coupon off future order as I will NEVER order from this company again. I especially liked the Percale sheets so I ordered another and when it arrived I immediately noticed that it didn't feel the same as the other two so I looked at the tags of all 3 sheets and discovered that both of the two previously ordered sheets say "100% egyptian cotton" but the new one only says "100% cotton" so I immediately sent them an email telling them this issue and requesting to return (I sent email on Monday) and immediately got the automated response telling me that they received my message and would get back with me in one business day...yet here it is Friday and I haven't heard a single word from them.
