They ended up sending me the wrong jacket so I sent them a message thru their website, but I got no response. 4 days later I emailed them with all the information, informing them I just wanted an exchange for the correct item. A week later they emailed me back with the return and shipping label telling me I'll be losing the shipping fee, along with paying for shipping and processing fee for the return (not even an exchange). So I emailed them back asking why I am I being charged all these fees for their mistake. It's almost a month since I emailed them back and still haven't gotten a response and now it's way past the return date. I liked the shirts but a mistake like this is bad business practice. Sending a customer the wrong item just to charge them for restock and shipping fee for the workers mistake and then ghosting them until the 30 day return date is over. CRAZY!

I had a terrible experience with company's return policy, and I would highly advise against from purchasing from them. Their online return process is a complete rip-off and feels like a scam. Not only do they not provide a return label, but they also charge a ridiculous $15.00 restocking fee. To make matters worse, customers are responsible for their return shipping fees which can be astronomical. I ordered a pair of shoes for $155.00 and had to return them, I had to pay $61.26 in shipping cost. This is an absurd amount considering I'm already paying for the product I no longer want. The company is making a profit on both the purchase and returns.

They don't honor their own policies demonstrating ZERO integrity and trustworthiness. I purchased a pair of Jordan's exactly one week ago at the University of Texas Guadalupe location. Clearly the receipt says I can return shoes within 14 days for a refund....In reality when I returned the Jordan's to the store, again 7 days later, I was told by the employee that they would not issue a refund and they wouldn't even allow me to simply exchange them for a more comfortable shoe. So I would DEFINITELY not recommend that anyone ever do business with Shoe Palace, at least not the University of Texas location in Austin, TX.

Not only did I have to pay for return shipping, but they would not replace my shoes with the correct size even though they had them in stock. This is what a customer service rep wrote me when I asked why they wouldn't exchange them for me, "The item was no longer available at our main warehouse where we complete returns. The item is available on the website since we have warehouses in different states." No explanation was given as to why they wouldn't send me a pair from another warehouse.
No action was taken by Shoe Palace to correct the situation.
They refunded me the purchase price, minus the original shipping, so I am out of almost $40 and have no shoes. I would HIGHLY recommend not doing business with this company.

I have bought New Balance shoes for the last 20 years, never had a problem. This pair didn't fit quite right so I decided I would return them. My wife and I had previously looked at other options when we were there so all I wanted was my money back, a simple return. I was greeted by “not feelin em Boss?” I replied I wore them once and they were uncomfortable. I'm 66 years old and I've probably returned 3 pairs of shoes in my life. This obnoxious store person, name withheld, told me that these shoes were obviously worn to which I replied, “yes, one time”. “We can't return these Boss, you've obviously been wearing these”. This punk basically called me a liar and when I said that to him, he said the best he could do was in store credit to which I replied that they have lost my business. I would rather eat the $80 and donate the shoes than deal with these type of accusations. I really like New Balance shoes, don't get me wrong but they should definitely pull the line from the Shoepalace.

Finally they got the memo after repeatedly explaining the situation. I finally received a return label but it took so long for the package to ship back to the facility. After getting a notice from UPS that it was returned, I tried calling customer service many times in a row for over two days and still no one answer the phone. Literally so fed up with them! I only wanted to get the correct shoes sent to me and its been over two to three weeks. It shouldn't have taken this long at all and now I've wasted my hard earn money because apparently this shoe business loves to steal from their customers.

When I got the damaged box, I stated that I needed to return it and the box got damaged during shipment to me(I took pics the day I got it). They said they're not responsible for damages caused during shipping. Then ship it in a box the first time and charge a couple bucks for shipping or put a checkbox if a box is preferred at a charge. OR state it that it'll be shipped in cheap bags. I've seen restock alerts for shoes I really want and then see the Shoe Palace name and passed. I would consider SP as an absolute last resort if at all going forward.

On Veteran's day (11/11/2018) we bought a pair of Kyrie basketball shoes for our daughter ($99,99) at the store at the Block of Orange (#162, Tran 246063). We had been to many stores searching for the specific model she wanted. (GS Kyrie 4 Black/Green "Holloween" edition).
She wore them at practice, Tuesday (11/13/2018) and she said their grip was TERRIBLE - she was slipping and sliding all over the place. She took them off in less than 1 quarter and played the rest of the game in her old, no-name BB shoes she bought at Big 5 last fall for $25.
When I went to return them today, initially I was told they could not refund the purchase price because they had been worn. I asked how would you know the shoes grip was terrible unless your wore then on a BB court.
They refered to "Company Policy" and the return policy printed on the receipt.
"Refunds within 14 days of purchase with receipt. Exchange of Store Credit within 30 days of purchase.
All product must be in New Condition with original Box, Tags"
They defined "new condition as "never worn".
So I guess there really isn't a return policy for shoes which have been worn.
I persisted, insisting on a full refund because the shoes did not perform,
Long story short, I received a full refund, but with a lot of effort on my part.
It's extremely unlikely we will ever buy shoes from Shoe Palace again.

On Memorial Day weekend we went shopping at Parks Meadows and we stumble on very shiny store called the Shoe Palace. We had never been there before to shop. WE WILL NOT BE GOING BACK.
After a quick look, we decided to purchase a Champion t-shirt brand shirt. The size of Medium was not available. However, the staff was able to retrieve one from the display.
When we were ready to check out we noticed that although there was nobody purchasing anything at that time, the store cashiers were acting confused and were not engaged. I only wanted to make my purchase and leave. This is where my frustration begins. The cashier told me he had made a mistake, that instead of charging my card he had charged the merchandise into cash or return. Or at least that is what he said. I was not sure what that meant.
So, as the cashier guy starts to play with the computer to fix the transaction. Some other associate walked up and said, "Please wait until he makes the corrections".
10 min passed by and still the cashier was struggling to make the corrections. The cashier appeared to be struggling with the register, like they had never sold an item before. It appeared that the staff lacked basic knowledge on how to use the cash register.
I had already checked my bank statement (electronically) and saw that the transaction had been made and a record of the transaction was there in the bank records. Money for the purchase had been debited from my account and credited to the Merchant. I wondered why the staff was talking about cash and what this have to do with my transaction?
Once we had been at this for about approximately 15 min a manager came and took over. During this period of time several customers have check out and I am still waiting. All of a sudden the manger leaves the store running with a bag.
While we were waiting for the cashier to fix our transaction, he also was checking out other customers. One bought a hat for 10$ and instead of leaving with his purchase, he ended up taking our bag with the 32$ shirt.
So the manager is running all over the mall (this is a big mall and crowded) to find the other customer.
As we waited I observed that there appeared to be plenty of other staff employed in this store waiting around shooting hoops and not many customers to help. Perhaps one of the associates could have left the store to find the man who had taken our purchase and the manager could have continued to help us?
We continued to wait.
At the 40 min mark, we were still dealing with the transaction and did not have our merchandise. So I finally asked if they refund my money. This had been the last Shirt in medium and we did not want to wait for the manager to find the customer who had wrongly taken the shirt. At this point we only wanted our money back and to leave.
The same cashier that we started our transaction with stated "you have to wait for the manager to come back." He could not help us. We did not feel free to leave the store as we might be accused of wrong doing or not get our money back.
I explained to him "We are getting very inpatient and hungry." So he finally started the process to refund my money. Then another associate stated "we actually have a new t-shirt in the same size." So he puts in the bag again. We should have been done.
However, we asked for the receipt. The store clerk had trouble finding the receipt as the counter is full of receipts. He did finally find the receipt.
I finally was able to complete my transaction after 50 min of trying to purchase one t-shirt and dealing with staff that appeared to be incompetent, poorly trained or indifferent.
So you wonder why stores are closing. You only need to experience what I experienced to understand. I wish I could continue supporting brick and mortar stores more often. I prefer to have hands on shopping experience (especially with clothing) However, I will now shop on AMAZON where the same t-shirt sells for $26 and no hassle. I just a click and I am done.

The company sent me the wrong size shoes and argued with me to send me the return label to get the right shoes. I called their phone number at least ten times and they never answered. After I finally got the return label, I sent the shoes back and in order to get the right shoes sent to me, I had to file a complaint with the BBB. They held my shoes hostage until i took the review down, which i later found out is illegal. If the shoes I ordered hadn't been ones only found at shoe palace, I would have bought them anywhere but here.

They sent me damaged pair of retro Jordan's. The shoe box was also damaged, it looks like it was repeatedly stabbed and for the price I paid none of that should have been damaged AT ALL. So upset, and trying to return them was a ridiculous hassle. I ended up having to keep these damaged shoes because they were trying to make any excuse to take MORE money out of my pocket for trying to return something I bought from them that was DAMAGED, that is very unnacceptable. I shouldn't have to go through a huge hassle for returning a damaged item. I sent pictures of the unused shoe and everything that was damaged and apparently that's not enough. I love the shoe and just wanted some that WEREN'T damaged but the process cost more money to send the shoes back (they said they'd credit back, but no way I'm trusting them with another charge) AND it was going to take way too long. I collect Jordan's and I expect to get good quality because that's what I'm paying for. I will NEVER buy ANYTHING from them ever again! And their customer service was terrible, they were VERY uncairing. Good luck getting another dollar out of me or any of my friends and family who also collect!

I brought them back to the store within the14days and explained that the right shoe had something that was stabbing me. I wore them for maybe 4 hours and decided they hurt too much. I brought them back and was told that because i wore them they were not eligible for return. How am i supposed to know if I'm satisfied with a product of i can't use it first???? The manager was rude and the assistant manager told me " i have the same shoes on and they're fine". I will NEVER give my business to this place again. Now I'm stuck with a $120 pair of shoes that i can't wear. Shameful!!

I visited the Shoe Palace in Coranado Mall, Albuquerque NM. (5-06-16) And it has got to be the worst experience of bad customer service I have yet to come across. I bought a pair of Kid Adidas for my daughter. The tag inside the shoe read $49.99 the tag on the outside of the box also stated $49.99. The clerk who rang me up who also happened to be the store manager charged me the incorrect price (54.99). I didn't know till I was outside the store, as soon as I did I turned around and went back into the store to let the same clerk/manager know of the error. And that's where everything went south. The clerk/manager proceeded to tell me that there was nothing she could do about it and that the "system" wouldn't let her correct the price, and that she would do "me the favor" of refunding my money. I then proceeded to tell her I wanted the shoes I didn't want a refund and that if her store was displaying a shoe for a particular price then the store had to honor that price. As it being it was the stores' mistake. The clerk/manager proceeded to argue with me for a good couple of minutes about how she wasn't going to honor the price displayed in a nasty condescending tone like I was the idiot. So I told her I wanted to talk to somebody at the Corporate office. She gets on the phone and "supposedly" calls Corporate office (if I had to put money on it I would say she didn't) She went called from the back room was gone less than a minute and miraculously upon her return she entered in something into her computer and she was able to override sale and honor the $49.99 sale. Needless to say I will NEVER shop there again! It was the stores mistake on pricing, personal in that store including store manager has a thing or to learn about customer service.

I went to shoe palace at Arrowhead Mall and bought a brand new pair of Nike Stefan janoski tennis shoes. I wore them the next day to work on an 8 hour shift and realized the right shoe had a manufacturer defect it was digging into my foot. I brought the shoes back to shoe palace at Arrowhead mall and they refused to return them since I wore them. For the amount of money I spend on shoes in this place I will not be a returned customer. And I understand their policy is 14 days return and shoes have to be like new well these shoes are like new and you have to wear them to know if there is a problem with them so I don't understand why you will not return shoes that have a defect. If your shoes that you sell are going to have a defect then I do not recommend anybody shopping here in spending close to $100 on a pair of shoes.

I ordered the Nike Air Python Premium - White/Metallic Silver sneakers for my husband's birthday. Not only did the sneakers come late, but they were the wrong ones. Imagine my husband's surprise when he opened the box to discover a beige color python with black and brown detailed snake skin Nikes. I called customer service and was polite despite the situation because they said they would send me another pair, he stated this happens all the time, I stated "Wow, really? ", he stated yes unfortunately. Despite being polite, customer service became impatient, rude and short with me, once I started asking questions of how the process works since the wrong shoes were sent in the company's error. He stated they'll send me an email with a return shipping label attached. They sent me an email in response stating that I would have to wait 48 hrs to receive a return shipping label by email. I had to call customer service 30 times and they would sometimes hang up on me. I had to email customer service 15 times just to receive a return shipping label the same day instead of waiting 48 hrs for the email. They also stated they couldn't ship the right shoes that I ordered until they receive the ones they sent me by error first. I asked if the shoes I originally ordered would still be in stock by then in the size I ordered. They stated they should still be in stock. They had the correct size in the shoe I originally ordered every day up until the morning they received the shoes. Once they received the shoes they were sold out in ALL Sizes. I then called 35 times this time and they hung up on me and I had to continue calling. Then I called by a different number 3 times and they answered in the 3rd call. I'm assuming they have caller ID from experience this the first time and then a second time. I asked for a refund since they're sold out. The customer service rep. checked the site to make sure they were sold out and then said we'll refund your money. I stated wouldn't you need my information before you hang up so that I can receive my refund. He then stated, what's your order number?
