Ordered a pair of Turtle Beach headphones on Amazon from Turtle Beach themselves because I needed to upgrade and the one's that arrived wouldn't work on my Xbox Series X, I contacted support and they were really responsive which was great but unfortunately everything they suggested didn't work.
At this point support told me they would need to be replaced because they were defective. After providing all of the necessary photos and information my return was accepted and was told I could dispose of the headphones. This was now 37 days ago (27 business days) and since then there has been a back and forth informing me that the headphones they want to replace are now out of stock so will I accept a different pair. Each time I have said yes that's fine and still to this date I find myself chasing to ask for an update without anything being sent. The original reply to me on support said the replacement pair should hopefully be shipped in 2-4 business days but that's just not the case. Frustrating in all honesty as I would have just gotten something else if I knew it would take this long to get a working pair of headphones.

I've had experience with turtle beach many years ago, was one of my first high end headsets and I loved them. So when I decided to upgrade my headset this time I went with turtle beach, coming from the razer shark v2 ( loved those things) . I spend a little more than I usually would because I believe you don't have to spend a bunch of money to get a decent audio experience.
Regardless I Purchased the drdisrespect limited editions stealth 700 gen 2 max pc/ps version. I was super excited for one because it's the doc and two they looked pretty sweet.
Order arrived quickly considering it was the holidays. Headset worked great first few days. But then I started to notice I would have connection issues whenever I turn on my ps5, whatever that wasn't a deal breaker. None the less I still sent support an email to see if I could trouble shoot the issue away. It took a day or two to get a reply. I tired some trouble shooting seemed to help, but then I noticed the game audio was always uncomfortably loud. So I attempted to lower via the game volume wheel and nothing would happen. Again I contacted support I was given instructions on how to trouble shoot/ update headset and transmitter to no avail. I finally just gave up began the refund process. That turned out to be pretty easy without hassle.
Fast forward two days or so I get an email asking to verify my address so a replacement set can be sent out to me which was awesome but yet disappointing because I had already sent out my headset and with refund already being processed.
I would much rather have taken the replacement then refund as this was a gift to myself for my birthday and the holidays.
Positives
1. Shipping was awesome and quick.
2 support team was great with trouble shooting efforts.
3 quality of headset was great felt rugged and not cheap. like it would last me a long time.
4. Honored return with holiday window.
Cons
1. Response time could have been a tad bit quicker.

They looked at the photos and asked me to inform Amazon that they had authorised an exchange under the warranty scheme. I contacted Amazon and thats where it became difficult, as the call centre was in India, it was difficult trying to explain to them. They just kept telling me that the 30 day return window had expired and that they could not exchange. I kept going around the houses with them, making no progress. Frustrated, I contacted Turtle Beach and explained my disappointment. Without hesitation Turtle Beach authorised delivery from their own warehouse of a replacement headset. The headset arrived this morning and is the latest version of the model we purchased last year. This is how customer service should be. Turtle Beach clearly care about their reputation and value their customers. Thank you Turtle Beach Customer Service.

I contacted Turtle Beach's Customer Service and they responded within their next business day. They were informed of the issue and sent a return label to get a replacement. The replacement was sent as soon as they received the bugged headset. The new one did not have that problem and works amazing! Two bluetooth devices playing at once was one of my favorite features. The best feature, in my opinion, would have to be the ability to control mic and headset dials through your phone. Really helps during gaming moments, especially when your team is being obnoxiously loud. 9/10 would recommend. The cons would be that it looks a little too big on my head, and its weight can hurt the top of my head. I'd have to adjust it well so that it doesn't hurt. I mostly wear hats/beanies when I'm gaming so it's not too bad for me. Other than that, a solid headset. Worth the extra money.

Contacted them again. Despite this is 2nd defective item, they still make you jump through hoops.

When asked to speak to superviser, rep actually said that was not necessary. Like what? Who responds with that when a customer asks for a superviser.
Rep says will expedite return, and will go out as soon as return is scanned as dropped off at UPS.
Needless to say, item was dropped off, and 4 days later still nothing mailed out to me. Completely lied about expediting.
Still have not received product paid for for Christmas for my son.
Also now rep said superviser will call me. And got no call.
Also called Turtle Beach last week and was told superviser Malcolm would call me.
Got no call.
This is the worst company I have ever dealt with.

I purchased a VelocityOne Flight yoke and the warranty from Amazon and it didn't work properly with my PC (yoke powered off after 5 mins while plugged in and my PC still says the device is working properly.. [pitch input still recognized, but nothing else.. no LED's, no display screen, no yaw, roll, throttle, buttons etc..]). We thought it was the yoke itself and Turtle Beach swapped it out immediately and I encountered the same issue with the replacement. The firmware, windows os and BIOS are all up-to-date. All USB settings were set to NOT save power and NOT disable device automatically. Even tried old firmware to no avail. BUT, it does work fine on a 20 year old HP desktop that won't run FS2020 very good, and works on my friends Xbox (the yoke never powers off).
The product itself was amazing when I was able to use it (having to re-plug in every 5 mins). But not one mention about the issue online so I'm the only one to encounter this problem. I spoke with both TB and my pc's support team and no fix was found. So, unfortunately my PC is the culprit (which is only 3 years old [MSI Trident A-Plus]) so I had to return the yoke.
Ultimately, my experience with the Turtle Beach Support Staff exceeded my expectations and they reached out constantly to assist with my issue. I am very pleased with their service and would purchase more products from them.
Also, I would recommend the VelocityOne Flight yoke as it most likely works with everyone else's PC or XBOX and is very realistic, responsive and fun to use.

This is the first negative review I have ever written, but Turtle Beach have ruined my sons Xmas! We were fortunate enough to receive a VelocityOne Flight on 1st December which, although an excellent item in itself, had a fault with one of the flight levers, not a problem as a quick exchange (they have stock on the uk site) would sort it all out? Wrong. It has taken 10 days from the first email I sent requesting a refund or exchange on 1/12 with many more emails and videos with 3 different people to get them to agree an exchange, even though I am well within my legal return window of 14 days. To cap it all off now they have finally sent me a return label they warn it will take up to 14 days upon receipt to dispatch a replacement, even though they are in stock. Couple that with the additional 3 days fedex return and we are looking at possibly receiving the new item after New Year! Hence sadly I have had to ask for a full refund which will probably take another 2 weeks or so and not having a spare £350 to try and buy another, whilst awaiting the refund, has totally dashed what would have been a great Xmas present. I was originally weary dealing with a company that doesn't have a contact number and I have been proven right. On a positive the service reps were all lovely but the companys turnaround times and processes have been the worst I've encountered.

First time buyer directly from Turtle Beach website. Customer support takes a very long time to reply to emails. I appreciate the Covid-19 outbreak has affected lots of operations in most businesses.
However, I can't see the number of emails received by Turtle Beach to be that much to cause delays like a whole 10 days or more to address customer issues. The other problem I experienced was whoever read my emails and I'm guessing a different person each time, was not reading properly and replied with requests that was already in my emails.
Then another issue was lack of communication between their depot and customer service. I mean after all it's a retail company that sells products aimed at one particular market, so how hard could it be and it's not like it's the biggest company in the world with 100 different departments.
You get the picture.
Of course this was my experience as someone who purchased from TB for the first time and I value experience therefore, I would not purchase from their website again.
The only reason I didn't give just one star is, I can recommend their Elite Pro 2 headset with amp easily to anyone. It's awesome and with the superhuman hearing it's ridiculously accurate with imaging, especially when playing FPS games. Only 2 downsides for me were lots of wires running across my living room floor, which was a death trap and the Bluetooth connection was quite unreliable.
So if you're a desk gamer and TB makes their Bluetooth connection with the TB hub app more reliable then I can easily recommend. If you're a living room gamer then go for one of TB wireless options. But I would highly recommend to purchase from somewhere like Amazon as they usually price products cheaper than official sites and their return process is amazingly easy or simply if you haven't got a budget and ok with spending around £250-£300 then go for the SteelSeries Arctis Pro with game DAC or Pro Wireless. Omg they're simply the best.

Terrible customer service, they don't reply to emails promptly, and when they do they don't even read it. I bought a £70 headset and they sent me the complete wrong thing, then stated if I was unhappy with the purchase I need to return it, however shipping costs I could incur. All I asked them is to send me the thing I ordered. 2 weeks later I still have no headset. I am now having to go through PayPal to get my money back.
Worst experience of purchasing online.
DO NOT BUY FROM TURTLE BEACH.

I bought my husband the Elite 800 wireless headset for 2019 Christmas. I'm no headset guru, but figured this headset would be a great choice. Fast forward to now (just over 4 months later), and the headset already broke on one side. I could see if he was some 12 year-old throwing a fit and flinging them at the wall or floor, etc., but he is nothing of the sort. Additionally, the headset wasn't use often, so it couldn't have been "wear and tear."
In addition, he has to go through a ridiculous process to even get them to work properly. I probably won't get this down step by step accurately, but it's something to this effect: He has to plug the headset to the controller for it to be acknowledged (so much for wireless). Then he removes the wire. THEN he has to go into settings and toggle the audio part, because it resets him back to TV. He then has to cough and clear his throat when he turns it on, to ensure it's sending through. Wait! That's not all! Oft times he doesn't hear anything, so he has to run the course of this stupid process all over again.
It takes him around 5-10 minutes of this garbage every single time he decides to reluctantly join a group in the game he's playing. The only consolation is he says once it's all working (lol) the sound is nice. But that's it. I find it sad and disappointing that a renowned name such as Turtle Beach puts out this kind of headset. I know a lot of people have good results with this headset, but I do know there are equally a lot who are getting the poor results we're having. And to think I spent what I did on them, not including shipping. Too late to return, so we're stuck with a bad headset.
One more thing: My husband just told me he had another TB headset in the past, and he had issues with that one, as well. Had I known, I wouldn't have gotten these. :-/

To anyone thinking of buying Turtle Beach I have one word - don't. The reason being is simple - they're very cheaply made with cheap materials.
I had my elite pro headphones little over six months before they started falling apart and I've had to return them to be replaced. Fortunately, they offer a two year manufacturer warranty but that warranty doesn't reset when I receive my new headphones. I play online and have plenty of friends that also have the elite pro headphones and have also had the same problem. Also, if you search for Turtle Beach on Twitter you'll see many others with the same problem. I wouldn't be so bothered if it was a £30 product, but it's a £150 product and you expect more for your money. Clearly, it's a cheaply made product.
While I'm happy TB are replacing my headphones for a new pair, I've already made my mind up that I'll never be buying from this brand again. I'll probably buy Sennheisers in future, as it's a brand I trust that's been making headphones for a lot longer than Turtle Beach. I made a mistake buying these headphones, don't make the same mistake I did.

Bought a new headset in february, in late july (just 6 months later) it developed a high pitch whistle every now and again, gradually getting worse and more frequent, contacted turtle beach support (support being a VERY lose term) only to be told as i bought it through ebay (even though it was brand new when purchased from a shop rather than a private seller) i was told, essentially, tough, we wont help you, buy a new one! good old fred at turtle beach support! i shall be buying a new one, however, it won't have turtle beach written on it anywhere!
they won't even entertain customer satisfaction, they could of just asked me to return the faulty one, and send me a replacement, but no, why should they, they already have my money

Brought new wireless set from amazon. They would not pair so nearly sent back to amazon for replacement would have taken matter of days to do return. For some stupid reason decided to go down warrenty route. Now nearly two months later still waiting for set to be sent.
If you ever speak to a rowan on sutomer support shoot yourself will be easier. Every time chased told will be dispatched in 10/14 days even when over that time. Finally sent strong wondered email shall we say. Suddenly response changes to currently out of stock and waiting delivery. Still waiting. Still waiting.
Will deffo never buy any turtle beach again, second rate product to match no rate customer service.
They don't even have a complaint email

They know how bad their products are so to keep your money their return policy is that you can't return it, unless it is completely brand new. In other words, if you even take it out of the box to try it and find it isn't what you wanted or doesn't fit (in my case), then tough you can't give it back. Pathetic return policy.
The Stealth 500P is a £90 headset, I paid £60 and was still disappointed. It is like a vice on your head, the fake leather on the ear cups is disgusting and hard, adding to the discomfort.
Turtle Beach have my money and that's fine but hopefully this review makes sure enough people don't buy their awful products that they lose out on more than the money they conned me out of.
Avoid if you want to save time and money, cheers.
