Untuckit quality has gone way down hill
There was a day when I thought I found the perfect shirt and company and would not buy them from anyone else ever. Now I will avoid Untuckit for becom... There was a day when I thought I found the perfect shirt and company and would not buy them from anyone else ever. Now I will avoid Untuckit for becoming a greedy company and not honoring its customers. It now makes mostly low quality products all made in China/Vietnam. For example, I have flannel shirt from Untuckit I got several years ago, and it is my favorite flannel ever! It was made in Mauritius! It was great proper cozy weight for flannel, beautiful finish and feel, and perfect sizing. I absolutely love it! Just ordered another flannel hoping for the same, and it is a low quality shirt made in China. It should not be called a flannel shirt! It is ultra-thin crappy cotton from China. Unless you like wearing flannel when it is over 70 degrees this shirt is useless. The fit is so poor compared to the Mauritius shirt that it is maddening. I now will have to return it and go to another company that makes REAL flannel shirts. I should have known because I noticed the last two shirts I bought at Untuckit the fit was not as good and the material seemed cheaper. I was correct and should have returned those as well. I find I never reach for them in my closet the way I did earlier Untuckit purchases. Even their t-shirts have become low quality... just got two that I will have to return. Again, my favorite t-shirt from a few years ago was the Untuckit comfort t. I am comparing one bought just last week to my older one, and there is no comparison. They wrecked it!! So sad when a clothing company gets a product so right, but then probably for more damn profit changes it and massively reduces quality hoping customers won't notice. Well I have noticed, and am telling my friends that I recommended buy Untuckit shirts, and anyone else I can, to stay away. It no longer makes shirts worth anywhere near what they charge. And if you want nice flannel, go to LL Bean or REI, anyone but Untuckit rip off non-flannel shirt. Done with Untuckit! And they could have had 30+ years of shirt purchase from me if they didn't get greedy and honored quality over profit. Read more

Errors every step of the way and despite it being a massive inconvenience, not a hint of an apology, let alone any kind of gesture of goodwill. Really like some of their clothes, but sad to say this experience has put me off using them again. It's become apparent that their customer service is at up for US customers, not really the UK. The shirt was too small and I tried to exchange it or return it for a different size and style, but was told it was not returnable. Very disappointing since I have bought other things from UNTUCKit. I returned both the shirt and the pants as they can just keep the shirt. It's hard to purchase online when every piece of clothing you try on fits differently. Most other retailers are very good about their exchange/return policy. It's not like they're closer and expensive. Read more

Recently ordered a shirt which while nicely made wasn't a good fit. Decided to return it but this turned out to be a nightmare. They sent a label for ... They then sent a new label for Evri which again failed. They then admitted this was their error (after several emails) and sent a DHL label which worked. To top it all off they charged an extra £5 to return the item which is supposed to be free according to their website. This was claimed to be some form of tax. Read more

If you are from the UK, the 'free returns' policy is an absolute shambles. I am still waiting on a full refund for over a month since it was returned.... The returns shipping label was not accepted at any of the stores I tried after spending an hour trying different places. The stores I tried were all the ones recommended! Definitely not a print quality issue. 2. Untuckit advised I post by Royal Mail and they would reimburse me for the cost of the package. They reimbursed me... but took it off my total refund!!! 3. Had to follow them up 2 weeks after posting to find out when I would actually receive the money-back. 4. Still waiting on a response RE out-of-pocket expense for the return postage I was told I would be reimbursed. So if you see this... I would appreciate a response. I am disappointed as I like the brand, and I have had a good in-store experience in London. However, I think this has put me off them completely. On to find a new company for shirts... Read more

After a week emailed customer service at Untuckit with photos of signed documents of receipt. Still waiting for a reply I've sent 2 more emails today is 6 November 21 still no response or refund.Ive been informed all returns are dealt with in the USA even though the items are returned to address in the UK. After reading reviews and talking to my friend. I decided to go one size up from my normal shirt. So I ordered 3x. When they arrived I tried them on and was surprised that they wouldn't go over my arm. At first I thought the shirts I ordered were 2x but no they all are 3x. I am left to assume they use Asian sizes not US. Because I have never had a 3x tight let alone not fit. And wear 2 in every other shirt I wear. The shirts are nice. Good quality. Untuckit worked with me to and I was going to return them. But my nephew liked two of them. And the fit him well enough. So I gave them to him. He normally wears and extra large. So while they make a good product. And have good customer service. If they are marketing a product to the US market? After the first of three shirts arrived, I opened it to find that the color looked nothing like the website and was horrible - no way I would wear it. It looks like a table cloth. I went to return it and was informed that because it was on sale, no returns, refund or replacements were allowed. Keep in mind that this was $60 for a $90 shirt. This is not “all sales are final” pricing. When I went into to view the shirt, sure enough, buried in the description it stated that no refunds or returns were allowed on this shirt. If it were on sale for $20, I completely understand. But 30-40% off is something a premium brand like Nordstrom does all the time. Untuckit is not a premium brand at all. I have no idea why they stay in business with these practices. I am expecting the next 2 shirts I receive to be equally is hideous. So I blew $175 on trash shirts. Read more

I tried to use the chat box then a phone call on Sep 28 that I want the money to be refunded to my credit card and what is this E-Credit business, I never opted for it. I was informed I will receive a refund in 1-2 days. On Sep 30 I received another reminder to use E-Credit and purchase something else if I want. On October 7 another notification. Today is October 9, I still have not received the money back. I had a conversation with their Customer Service today and was informed the funds will be put back on my credit card today or tomorrow. I was given the same assurance on September 28. I hope I get my money back this time. I purchased stuff from JCrew and UnderArmour at the same time and received my refund in one day, without any follow-up. UNTUCKIT should stop doing this because being so painful to your customers will result in loss of business. You have just lost one customer. Read more

I do not normally post reviews but I've made an exception in this case, I totally agree and echo the previous reviews, I cannot think of a good thing ... Products are of poor quality and as for being designed to be worn untucked that is just a joke. I am short (5' 6") and do find that many of the shirts on the market do look long when worn untucked, consequently I thought this company offered me a product I could eventually wear untucked. Sadly that was not the case the shirts supplied proved to be longer than shirts from a variety of brands already in my wardrobe. What a waste of time and to add insult to injury the returns are NOT FREE as advertised. Untuckit don't charge but you are forced to return goods via DHL and it cost me £20!!!! Totally useless and untrustworthy company do not buy from them, you will regret it, I just wish I'd read previous reviews before I ordered anything. Quick update I posted a negative review on the Untuckit site yesterday......surprise surprise they have since deleted it. Says it all really!! Read more

On opening a return by post, you are directed to DHL, where you have to fill out a collection form and then are expected to pay, MINIMUM, £16 for a parcel to be collected (however many shirts you ordered)! SIXTEEN POUNDS! What a total rip-off! What's an even bigger smack in the face for the buyer, is that Untuckit DELIVER your parcel by the much, MUCH, cheaper courier Yodel. But you do not get the option to return it by a courier of your choice, nope, only the VERY expensive DHL. Customer services are based in the US so don't waste your time. May as well point out too that the actual shirts aren't worth the money either. Shorter than normal shirts? Rubbish. I'm 5'8 and the shirts I ordered still came down past my groin. Don't fall for the bull like I did, fellas. It's an expensive gimmick and one that will cost you in Returns just to try. Read more
