Have had many problems with this company and ordering their Lemon-Lime and Frosted Lime flavours. I assume they have manufacturing issues, but their customer service department is not good.
My previous order in January was for Lemon-Lime and they sent Focus/Lime Green Coffee drops. They said these are the same just rebranded, but Chloé from customer services said they made changes to the cubes in the rebrand, so in fact they were not the same. I asked for a refund if I return the unused drops and they refused. When I opened these incorrect drops, they tasted funky, felt very hard and they weren't dissolving. They must have been ancient drops they were trying to shift. When I let customer services know this, they said they may have gone bad and gave me a voucher for my next order.
I used the voucher for my order in April. It was for Frosted Lime and they sent Lemon-Lime drops in Frosted Lime boxes. Five of them (that's 60 drops!) On the website, these products are different prices and have different ingredients. Frosted Lime are more expensive (and tastier in my opinion), but they sent me the cheaper version! What's that about?
I have contacted customer services but after my experience last time am not hopeful of a resolution or to get my money back. They really need to get their act together, especially for Plus Members.
NB. When you order you get sent many terms and conditions documents! One of these says the company cannot promise you will receive the items you ordered on the website. Another says you can only cancel within 14 days of purchase - but delivery takes at least a week if not more, and what if you open the packaging sequentially as you use them after the 14 day period has passed and find a fault?

Also would need more than 1 cube to have a decent amount of flavour in the suggested range of liquid quantities. The star fruit & lemongrass package was not in English. Thought to return the 2 unopened packs but would cost about the same as the cost of one of the packs to return to CZ. Worth a try but a bit of a costly mistake on my part. The cubes also seem to take way longer than I would expect to dissolve! And not Waterdrop's fault but the courier service (FedEx) left a lot to be desired.

In my opinion not only are they overpriced, but they dont taste good, and need more than 1 cube otherwise they dont have flavour. The blackberry which was a new one, had more flavour, meaning they knew their existing cubes lacked flavoured, but told me it was simply based on peoples flavour preference and taste palete which is just a scam.to sell more because who wants water that tastes like its had a piece of fruit peel sitting in it for an hour. I contacted them about strongly disliking them and they refused to let me return the two unopened packets, which i now realise is against consumer laws and i should have contacted the bank to get my money back. So not only do they have bad customer service and breech consumer rights, they don't apologise for someone wasting their momey on a crap product like any decent bussiness will, but theyre unreasonably overpriced, underflavoured, gross, and a huge waste of plastic having each cube in a separate packaging. I'll never shop here again. I would have maybe bought the blackbery again but not after their horrible service. If anyone does like them you can have the 5 packets i have sitting in the cupboard that ill never touch.
I've found 'vital zing' to surprisingly be a lot better. I thought it would be the same but nope now I get actual flavour from vital zing drops, even with the reccomended amount of drops it still tastes nice where as water drops dont (i usually prefer a bit more flavour, not too strong but not too subtle)
Honestly wouldnt reccomend this company to anyone. I rate their service and products 1/10.

A dozen or so emails back and forth across two weeks for a simple request (refund/exchange) that Gymshark can do in 60s without the need for a human at all. Absolutely nuts.
Nice bottles however I don't advise anyone drink the flavoured stuff they sell, no way it is that good for you and the cost is extortionate. Based on customer service this company doesn't deserve anyone's business.

I placed my first order last week. I always check the product pages carefully because of allergies. I should have become suspicious enough to not place an order when it said that the products would give 12 L in some places and 12 servings in others (which means half that). I ordered a Peach. I made sure it was just called Peach and not Peach and something else. I checked the product image and product details. Then yesterday I get the delivery. It' s not Peach. its Peach Ginger. Which is not what I ordered. The packaging is very different. I click the page from the order and it is still the same image and product tilte is still just Peach. Not Peach Ginger. There seem to be some kind of partial update after my order since it now, if you go to the detailed description, which you have to click further to even see, it now says ginger and ginseng. I email the company informing them that I am disappointed, particularly since I am allergic to part of the ingredients and will not be able to drink it. It is straight down the bin and money down the drain. I would never have ordered this product if the product details were accurate. The custoper representation does not ask me if I want to return the product. They do not offer a partial refund. They just go " aw, that's too bad. Please give us another chance and consider shopping from us again." Any other company would apologize thuroughly and thank me for bringing this to their attention and at least offer to take the product back. Nothing. I will make sure to warn anyone I know about this company and comment on any ad that may appear on my social media about my experience.

My thought was why would I want the points or $5 off towards something I already paid for? I wrote them back how I unsatisfied I am and haven't heard any more from them. I would send them back but my family wants these for Christmas. I didn't tell my family about the unfair experience with waterdrop because they wouldn't want them. Update: Thanks for responding but unfortunately you and your team have not resolved your problem that made it my problem. The bottom line is I ordered 4 bottles With sleeves, one bottle came without a sleeve! Make it Right!! Send me one bottle with a sleeve and I'll return the bottle without the sleeve. It's a simple as that. The most important thing here is, you and your team are NOT choosing to make it right with me, and this truly makes me regret buying waterdrop.

The Lucy jug, stay away from, the quality is shocking for the price that you pay. I find that the glass is as thin as paper and is not suited to hold 2L of water, it feels like one wrong tap or movement that it will shatter to a thousand pieces. There is also no airtight lid and I found that dust and debris gets into your drinking water from this - I have a clean house, but its an open kitchen and we don't like it in the fridge. The filter itself is ok, we have very hard water but you would have to filter it twice to remove taste of that. I used their discount on the website, however I wouldn't even pay £15 for this jug!
I also bought 3x of their flavoured water cubes to try, they are bland and tasteless, even putting two in - also expensive for how many you get. I was expecting more of a juice taste, but it's very lightly flavoured water.
Customer service FULLY REFUSED to accept return - claiming products cannot be opened. AVOID
Your jug just still sits there unused as of 2025... Useless

In seeking resolution, I contacted the customer service and explained the issue, clearly stating that I had already attempted the basic troubleshooting steps. Despite this, the response I received was a generic set of instructions repeating what I had already done.
I responded with the additional information they requested but to my surprise, I never got any response anymore. Despite my persistent follow-ups, totaling seven additional emails, my concerns remained unaddressed and I didn't get any response. I even attempted to reach out through their Instagram page, only to be met with the same silence. It's been almost three weeks!
This experience has been deeply frustrating. Initially, I held a positive view of the company, but the lack of response and apparent disregard for customer concerns has significantly altered my perception. The customer service, or rather the lack thereof, has been extremely disappointing.
In a final attempt to resolve the matter, I requested a return and refund for the non-functional product and I still didn't get a response. It's really sad that a company will treat a customer in this manner and I am left with no choice but to share my experience publicly so that people can be aware of how they treat customers and not experience the same thing that I have experienced.

Then the nightmare began, first I was asked to send the package to a Czech address, I complained about it because I need to pay the postage myself, and the customer service provided a UK address. Okay, I don't want to waste my time and just sent it and paid the expensive postage. Then waterdrop never confirmed reception of the package, although the post office tracking information shows it was delivered. I chased many times, provided tracking number, tracking receipt, no constructive reply at all. Don't try to direct me to the info email address any more, it doesn't work. If you cannot support a Dutch customer properly, close your Dutch website!

Once done return to post office was a breeze even in my little post office. After not hearing from waterdrop for a while I asked if they'd received my return and they had. I asked wen would I receive my replacement smart cap and was asked for my details and told one would be sent out in approximately 2 weeks I received my replacement which doesn't work as well on a 1L as a 600ml but it will do. It is a drawn out process to return lucy smart cap this is my 3rd and if this malfunctions I will ask for a refund. Hopefully that if needed will go smoothly. I will let you know if.

If you have a reaction to Stevia DO NOT BUY!!! I didn't know how horrible it was and my first time ever having Stevia so try it with a grocery store drink before you get this as you will be spending a lot of money to not be able to return at all.
The company being so small they will not refund or send a return shipping label. So they told me that I could return (at my cost) but ONLY UNOPENED ITEMS. I used the water bottle for my 1 drop and all the packaging is open so I can't return anything.
I have learned my lesson and unfortunately, I am out $80.

There is no better customer experience than working with the excellent team at Waterdrop.
I found Waterdrop via Facebook - a marketing campaign - about a year ago. I was skeptical at first; could something with no sugar and so few calories *really* help me drink more water, and actually taste good? I struggled with drinking soft drinks and sugary drinks due to convenience and a need for caffeine. In my first order, I rolled the dice on getting a one caffeinated product ( Shiro ) and a taster pack.
This changed my *WHOLE LIFE*. A year later, I don't drink sugar drinks and I have experienced the entire line of products in that you can get in the USA (and most that you can only get in the EU!) and I am hooked for life. The Waterdrops are completely sugar free - and have amazing and refreshing taste combinations.
So you have a great product - but what happens when something goes wrong? I was so sure that their customer service would drop the ball. The first time I reached out, it was because my Lucy cap (If you travel and need to purify your water YOU NEED LUCY!!) wasn't working. This was an expensive investment and I was disappointed. I called up the support team and not *ONLY* did the agent solve my problem but she went above and beyond to make sure that I knew if a reset didn't help that they would exchange the product. No shipping, no hassle- just "I'll take good care I'd you." And tbey have not disappointed!!
The second time, I had a glitch in ordering. I called to see if I could get an item added and the associate just sent it to me, no hassle, no questions - and no extra shipping charge.
The third time, I got Matthew by phone. I was in a hopeless situation. I had just been sent a beautiful tea tumbler but the top was damaged. We don't have that tumbler here in the USA, and I was a little worried that I wouldn't be able to find a new top - rendering my new gift useless. Matthew ... gosh he went ABOVE and beyond. They don't sell tea tumbler tops solo in the USA, but he was able to find one to send as a replacement, FOR FREE, and without even asking for a picture, or for me to return the one that was damaged to Germany - no hoops. No fuss. Just great customer service, with a great product.

I offered to return the incorrect items and they told me to keep them and stay hydrated. I am very happy with the way that they handled the issue.

Terrible company with even worse customer service. Have been back and fourth with them for almost 2 weeks now.
Bottle arrived FAULTY, they send me a new lid to apologise - for a faulty bottle! Will not offer me to return the bottle for a refund. In the meantime I have purchased another brand and have wasted over £30 on something that doesn't work and they won't let me know how to return.
I am having to resort to getting the money back from my bank and will also be taking them to small claims court as this is all just unacceptable.
Do not waste your money on this company because they certainly don't care about you as a customer!

The outer sleeve looks awful like its faded in the sun and gone a funny shade of beige!The bottle itself is ok but nothing special. The water drop cubes are tasteless and like someone else said taste like a drink you left out for three days... Returning it even though the cost is very high. Don't waste your money just buy any glass bottle and micro drinks from leading supermarkets. This is a lot of hype for very little reward. I feel stupid for thinking it was something special.
10/04/22-still waiting for my money to be refunded, no acknowledgement of the return which cost £10.00. I would be very cautious dealing with a company that believe they provide great customer service but fall down on returns and refunds. Anyone can sell but not everyone can accept their products are not for everyone and fall short in returning money. Shame on you.

Too bad the flavor does not measure up! Citric acid is the (extremely) dominant flavor in theirs. I cannot tell much difference in the 4 flavors I tried.
They have a terrible return policy. I bought a multi flavor pack so I could try them out and find which flavor I liked. I sampled one of each hoping to find one I liked. They only accept unopened packages... How does one want to return something without trying it???
$55 wasted!

Would give zero stars. My order sat at a sorting center in Germany for about three to four weeks for them to return it back to water drop. Will have to check if I actually do get a refund but can't help to feel like its a scam. They gave an excuse of customs but I've ordered other things that passed customs way easier.
Update After 6 weeks yes I ordered this back in July it finally came Sept 1st believe it or not. And yes I did get an email from the company when I got a notification that it was out for delivery to be returned back to you guys two weeks ago still have the email. From the whole ordeal I rather stay clear and hope this is a fluke it looks good but 6 weeks seem like a long time. Luckily I didn't pay for shipping cant imagine ones that do.
