Most of these 1 star reviews are people complaining about the £18 return fee, but I'm not sure they've even read the info on the website because Windsor clearly state this. Overall I had a great experience and I would definitely buy again. Oh and forgot to mention my dress came to the UK in 3 days!! crazy fast shipping.

Unfortunately, professing times are always excessively long. Every product I have purchased from Windsor has been noticeably low quality, especially for the price, thus I have had to return every piece. Customer service is never all that helpful or honest when you run into an issue, nor do you get that respect and kindness that is found with other businesses.
My local Windsor never seems carry my size, on the extremely rare occasion I find a piece that is my size, it's is not an appealing style.
I've found with my last 2 online purchases from the Windsor website, that everything about my entire experiences are just not worth the time, efforts, funds and, most of all, stress. Unfortunately I will no longer be doing business with the company due to those reasons. There's truly no upside, and nothing rewarding or building joyous expectations in any aspect of the company.
One example would be with this last order, where I had paid $19.95 extra for the express shipping option. My order arrived late despite that and I was refused a shipping refund, after being told it could be done.

I love the dress, I've only worn it for 10/15 mins (tried it on as my prom is in July!) but the quality seemed good and the fit is really nice, exactly how it looked in the photo. The delivery was good too, ordered on 23/11 dispatched on 25/11 and came on 5/12 and I got a notification from Evri as soon as they got it. Overall I'm really pleased and would say as long as you're sure of the dress you want and don't have to return it (as that seems to be difficult) your experience will be good

They told me after the fact that I would have to wait two to three business days to process the order. Then another two days for them to ship Express. It was listed as next day shipping. When I called them I asked him if it was coming by UPS or FedEx. I was told it would be coming by the United States postal service. Everyone knows that USPS is snail mail, and if it was truly expressed I would have received my order days ago. My event is now coming up. I am now forced to have to go find a dress in person. Do not purchase from this company online unless you want to be screwed over with shipping. Also the reviews are all true! They tried to scam you out of your money when you try to return. You will not be refunded the money for the express shipping. So I'm out of $25 when I paid for Express. Also they're trying to charge me $20 to send the item back so now I'm having to come out of pocket and still have not received my money back. I placed my order 4 days ago, and I still have not received any tracking information. Mind you I paid for next day shipping for Express. Customer service agents are rude and unhelpful! They are condescending, and will tell you that it's your fault and that everything is stated on the website when it's not. It's missed information and false advertising by stating that you are purchasing next day, delivery when it could be further from the truth. The employees did not offer to check around with other local stores or to order it for us. I went online and ordered, and we had to pay for shipping and the shipping was 5-8 days. This was risky as we needed the dress in 7. Well, the dance came and went and now, on day 8, the dress has still not even shipped. I contacted customer service and said keep it and issue a refund. They said that it is not considered late until 13 days after we ordered it. By the way, the return window is 14 days from the order date, and the nearest store is 40 minutes from me. They will not cancel the order, so I have to wait and see if the dress even shows up within the return window, lose what I paid for shipping, and drive 49 minutes after working two jobs to try to make it to a store to return. Disgusted does not begin to tell how I feel about this store. Horrible experience all around. Never do business with Windsor.

The store manager didn't even offer me a courtesy credit of any amount, it was just oh well sorry. Next experience I decided to go the online route and ordered a dress for my daughter's homecoming, I paid the extra fee that said delivery in 3-4 days. When I called to check on the status and why it was still saying "unfulfilled" I was told the order hadn't processed yet because the 3-4 days meant business days and not days, I said ok well it still should arrive by Friday because 3-4 business days would be Friday, I was told no because processing takes 2 business days then you add the 3-4 business days for shipping. So now my daughter won't have her dress for homecoming. So I said just cancel the order and I'll go to another store. They said since the order had already been sent to warehouse for processing, I couldn't cancel but I could just order another dress, pay for another dress and order it express 2 day shipping! So pay for two dresses and then return one of them smh never again, I will spend the extra money and go to a real store because this store is a joke.

It cost £18.00 to return which they said would cover the cost back to the U.S, I couldn't believe how much it cost but carried on with the return process. I returned at on the 12th June, they received it on 20th June and have only just given me a refund. I had to chase this 3 times via their support service but the worst thing of all I only received £32.15 back from a dress that cost £62.15. I queried this, they said I had encountered extra shipping fees. This is an absolute joke. I should have sold it on Vinted and got more. I will never ever buy from this company again. Absolute SCAMMERS. Who buys a dress and only gets back half the money?? I keep getting emails to ask how their customer service performed which adds insult to injury.

Nowhere did it say these are uk, us or eu sizing, there was only a size conversion chart. So these were falsely advertised, Windsor refused to give me a free shipping label to return them when it was their fault the problem existed, telling me I would have to spend $18 to return them myself to get my £30 refund. Appalling. Never buy from this company.

The products, in my opinion, are exactly as they are online and not under or overpriced. I am keeping one of these dresses as it is absolutely gorgeous and the fit is perfect and is very well-made. I guess it depends on the dress style/type where some people may go wrong as sizing obviously can vary. Big HOWEVER, it is costing me £18 to return the two unwanted dresses which is ridiculous. I would happily have paid more for the dress I am keeping so it's not the end of the world but i would have been fuming if I got nothing from the order. We'll see if I have any issues with the refund so this rating is definitely still pending.

I am truly disappointed with this site, I had been looking on here for some time because their dresses look incredibly beautiful and so I finally took the leap and ordered a dress. 1st of all I paid £7.00 for shipping which is an insane amount and it wasn't next day or speedy delivery took about 4days to arrive, but whatever because the reviews of the dress looked good and so did the picture, the dress arrives and I am so disappointed in the fit, the quality, the fabric just everything and it was priced at £63.00 defo not worth that.
I proceed to start a return and the whole weekend there seemed to be a problem with the link on their site, I have finally been able to access and it and guess what another extortionate price, it is charging me well reducing £12.00 from my refund so I can return the dress. So in total I have given this company £19.00 of my hard earned Money for nothing. I'm sure this has happened to many people and I think it is disgusting that we are robbed of our money and in return the company do not provide a service they imitate that they can.
I will never shop here again and will discourage anyone that mentions this company to me in the future.

I had about 3-4 dresses in my hand when I was approached by a worker asking me if I “plan” on trying the dresses on. I stated “yes, why?” She than told me not today your not you should have got here earlier and she will not be “babysitting.” I was on the phone with my friend and was very upset and said i need these dresses for my birthday this weekend and some are non returnable items. She did not care. I than only chose one because I didn't know what would fit. I than went to register and the dress had no tag and she told me to go get another or I can't purchase it so I had to go get another dress. When I got back to register she asked me for my email which I stated I did not have one. She told me than you aren't purchasing anything. My friend on the phone let me use hers since I don't have a personal one and can't provide my work email but she refused to let me purchase products without and email. The worker than gave me an issue about noting the receipt that the dress had no tag for in case I wanted to return since I couldn't try it on. She refused to give me her name. I than called corporate on 11/18/2022 and spoke with Vienna which was super nice but told me a manager would call me back. Genesis called me back and apologized and offered me a 50% off coupon. I explained I felt very targeted and this was a racial incident because the worker was nice to the other customers and employees that were her same race. I feel this issue was not handled and the 50% coupon is not a compensation for the experience or the way Windsor had made me feel. I will not be using the coupon or shopping here and I will be returning the dress I purchased. This is unacceptable.

I made a purchase of almost $400 and the young ladies at the register were amazing. I went to leave the store and the metal detector went off "which normally happens with big purchases as they may forget to remove a buzzer". I immediately went back to the register for the associate to check the items. I was then told by the manager Lauren Orbe or Lauren Walden, to walk through the metal detector. Then she told me to take my purse off and walk back through the medal detector multiple times. At this point I'm humiliated by the experience. I immediately walked back the registered asked for the items I purchased and left the store. I returned right after and asked for a refund as I refuse to purchase from a retailer that would treat someone this way for no reason. When I returned and asked the associate for a refund, Lauren comes to the register takes my bag pored the items on the counter and said "I will gladly refund you" in a very combative and condescending tone. She was very rude and had a very disrespectful demeanor through the whole process, as I just wanted to return the items and leave this horrible experience. She never apologized nor ask why I wanted to refund the items, she pretty much stated she didn't care. I pray whatever is going on with her internally is healed but as for me I will take my business where it's appreciated.

When needing to return two dresses that didn't fit ( keeping one of the three ordered) the returns portal was not working. We repeated that daily given the tight timeframe to make a return via DHL and secure a refund. This carried on for 5 days and there was no reply to two customer service emails sent . We ended up having a response that was simply to direct us back to the returns portal which didn't work again. We then tried to make a telephone call to seek urgent attention and they kept us on the call for nearly 20 mins incurring a phone call bill cost of £45. They won't reimburse us. All in all extremely disappointing and caused nothing but stress. The customer service was anything but. Avoid this company.

The fake lying bots reviews that are lying saying "I bought a prom dress here, etc." are lying about the specific dresses they bought and no one having prom due to COVID and no one is truly cares what reason you fake bot reviews bought dresses.
Anyway, this site has terrible quality clothes and they charge so much money for cheap bad quality, just as bad as princess polly and shein. And all three stores are bad cheap quality. And the clothes are made out of such cheap bad material, I would send a picture on here of the bad quality clothes I ordered, if I could but trustpilot doesn't have that option. Going to return everything I bought here. This store isn't worth a penny and ss another review on here said, they will be going out of business soon, cause no one buys from crappy Windsor or princess polly or shein either and all these stores listed are scams and use heavy photoshopping, just like any other store, to make people buy the crap, even though no one buying from none of these crap stores.
And I can't stand the fake cgi photoshopped pictures of nonexistent insta sl#ts that they show on the website and product pages, cause there not even real life people shown on the fake photoshopped nonexistent pictures anyway. Like what's the point in showing such fake pictures, cause everyone knows it's not real life people shown, all created through cgi and photoshop to look and act like real people, then though they're not. None of those "insta sl#ts" are real life people anyway.
And it's also false advertising and a lie when they send fake scam emails saying "connect with us on Instagram to enter our Windsor gift card drawing and tag us to enter to be featured on Windsor Instagram page", that is all nothing but lies and bs because NO ONE gets nothing free in this world and no one gets a free gift card cause no company gives out free stuff to NO ONE and NO ONE gets featured on fake social media or YouTube because companies don't care about featuring anyone because that doesn't help any company and would be pointless and no company does that fake bs anyway and companies don't give a sh#t about that.

I placed an order on 9/19 and I PAID EXTRA for faster shipping. My package was supposed to arrive by 9/24 the latest, but Windsor emailed me on 9/23 saying it wouldn't come in until 9/30.
My birthday is on 9/27 and I was planning on wearing my items for that day. Now I'm going to have to go find something else last minute. They said they can't cancel the order once it's been processed, which I understand.
However, in order to return the items I would need to pay for shipping AGAIN, which I am not going to do. I think they should cancel the order since I won't be needing the items by the time they come in, or at the very least, refund me for the extra shipping that I paid as well as pay for the return shipping.

Very annoying when there like 4 associates walking the floor. Would be nice for one of them to jump on a register for a few since there is a line almost the entire length of the store.after waiting an hour I finally went up to a woman who worked in the store figured she's was a manger. And she said she was, I asked her if she could please help me as they clearly need another cashier as the young girl was checking by herself for the entire shift. She stated she did not have enough staff and she can't go on the register as she has to be on the store. I reminded the manger it is her job to properly staff her store and if a customer is asking for help she should help. She kept saying there was nothing she could do. I stated I was going to call cooperate and report the store. And then she continued to tell me she didn't care. I asked her to speak to her manger. So she got the store manger involved. The store manger then went and got someone on the other register. But told me I had to wait in line again! I was so furious I walked out the store. I went back a few minutes later after calming down. I then had to wait in like for another 35 minuets! Finally at 5:30 I get to the register (walked into the store at 4 pm!). The young girl (very kind) helped start the return process for the broken dress. Then she notices only $38 goes back on my card. She has to get the manger involved (who is rude) and she told me because I did an exchange previously I had to get the other portion on a gift card. I totally lost it on the manger. First I started with the young woman and made sure she knew she was doing a good job and this had nothing to do with her. I looked at the manger and explained all this frustration could have been avoided when I asked her for help and she refused. I stated I did not want a gift card as I will never walk back into one of these stores and I did not want to waste any more time in the store that the $28 isnt worth the wasted hour and a half and the rude customer service just wasn't worth it. Guess you can say I was extremely fed up. Was even more pissed that I waited in line for an hour and a half and only got half my money back. The manger didn't even try to resolve the issue give me and option beside the gift card. Nothing. Windsor if you want to keep this store open please consider bringing your DM for this area in, retraining your manger , or replacing her. She doesn't care, customer service is poor and she spent more time walking the floor then helping her team. She let her store fail tonight and pissed off many customers! Was gonna do a big shopping trip here next week. But decided to go to Times Square instead. They at least treat you like a person. Windsor if you see this comment. Please reach out to me as I'm ver dissatisfied and will be telling everyone I know to steer clear of your stores and sites!

I had to actively spend 3 days online and on the phone to just get their customer service number, then ANOTHER 3 days threatening lawsuits and taking my battle to all major media outlets to instate a National boycott to even get them to send me a shipping label to return pants that were not only 4 sizes too small but damage upon arrival that were ENTIRELY ELIGIBLE FOR REFUND! And now, I find out they HAVE my return, but it's “in review” and will take “at LEAST 3 weeks” to process and make sure it's “deemed refundable”. Not only will I never order from these THIEVES ever again, I am taking my case to Fox, MSNBC, CNN, TMZ, all major media outlets to make sure they let EVERYONE know how horrible these scammers are!

I ordered 2 dresses I loved them; however, one of them came with a defect and I had to return. Long story short, the shipping to return was more than half the price of the dress $23.00. We had to return three of the five dresses we ordered for my twin daughters' prom that got canceled due to Covid-19. Short story long; they won't accept the dresses because it was not within the 14 days window allowed for special offers (we missed that part). The package came back because of California's lockdown. The first representative was just repeating the same and the same thing. It was not within 14 days and I was trying to convince her that so many companies are changing their policies to adapt to the new reality and way of living, but the representative didn't want to hear. $154 wasted. I thought to try one more time and Denise Rico made our day. She even called me in person when the phone line she gave me didn't work. She went above and beyond to calm me down and make me feel I was talking to a long time friend. And yes, we returned the dresses and got the refund within 3-4 business days (I was told it would take about 2-3 weeks). Initially, I was thinking I would never shop from them again, but now I think I might and only because of her. The dresses were not bad too.
